TRIgid™ Three Tube Shaft and One-Piece Body
The most common causes of damage to rigid
endoscopes are impacts and flexion of the shaft. To combat these issues we have
employed a stainless steel three tube shaft design in our Prismus™ line of rigid endoscopes. With similar designs traditionally
only seen in heavy-duty industrial borescopes, TRIgid™
technology makes the shaft more rigid to reduce the chance of damaging the
optics due to potential external hazards. The TRIgid™ three tube shaft also serves to separate the light
fibers from the optics in the case of a damaging event so that the two systems
are isolated and the affected system will not interfere with the operation of
the other components. This provides a platform for a quicker, cheaper repair
process due to the damage being contained to a confined location.
In addition to our TRIgid™ three tube shaft design we have also constructed the
body of our rigid endoscopes out of a solid piece of stainless steel. This
provides superior strength at the core of the device and eliminates the chance
of a structural failure.
The Prismus™ line of rigid
endoscopes has been designed and built to provide you with the confidence you
need and the quality you expect.
Spring Loaded Optics System with Sapphire
Our optics system has been designed to
give you superior image clarity and durability. We use a spring loaded optics
system to ensure maximum stability and consistency in the manufacturing
process. Premium sapphire windows are also used in the most sensitive areas of
our scopes to provide excellent scratch resistance and enhanced image viewing.

most methods including hydrogen peroxide plasma and autoclave. They are also
compatible with most major brands of scope systems and accessories. Each scope
has color coded rings to designate the angle of view to reduce tray load errors.
